Kampala’s premium hospitality market is entering a new phase as the Ruparelia Group moves closer to unveiling an expanded Kabira Country Club in Bukoto.
The redevelopment is expected to transform the long-established club into a broader lifestyle and business destination, combining accommodation, wellness, conferencing and executive services under one roof.
The expansion comes at a time when demand for high-end hospitality facilities in Kampala is growing, particularly from corporate travellers, expatriates, long-stay visitors and organisations seeking premium venues for meetings and conferences.
The upgraded Kabira Country Club will feature serviced apartments, executive suites, modern conference facilities and enhanced wellness amenities, adding a stronger residential and business component to the existing leisure offering.
Beyond accommodation, the development is positioning the facility to compete for a larger share of Kampala’s meetings, incentives, conferences and events market, as Uganda seeks to strengthen its position as a regional destination for business tourism.
The project is also expected to contribute to the changing character of Kampala’s upscale hospitality sector, where hotels and resorts are increasingly combining accommodation with residential, recreational and corporate services.
Construction is reportedly in its final stages, with interior finishing and landscaping underway ahead of the official unveiling.
With its location in Bukoto and its expanded range of services, Kabira Country Club is expected to serve both local and international clients looking for an integrated environment for business, relaxation and executive living.
The development further underscores the growing role of private investment in expanding Uganda’s premium hospitality infrastructure and supporting Kampala’s ambition to attract more high-value visitors and regional business activity.
