The Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) and Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, has called on Ugandans to actively preserve their cultural heritage, describing it as a vital pillar for national identity, unity, and tourism development.
Speaking during a fundraising dinner organized by the Ngo Clan at Sheraton Kampala Hotel on Friday evening, Namyalo commended the clan for promoting Buganda’s rich cultural heritage through tourism.
In support of the initiative, she donated UGX 15 million towards the clan’s activities, reaffirming her commitment to initiatives that strengthen cultural institutions and community development.
Namyalo urged clan members to remain united and continue investing in their cultural institutions, saying strong cultural values contribute to building stronger communities and a prosperous kingdom.
She also encouraged the youth, particularly President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s Bazzukulu, to embrace government wealth-creation programs, saying they offer practical opportunities to improve household incomes and transform livelihoods.
