KAMPALA
Asha Mafabi Nabulo is among Members of Parliament attending the ongoing induction programme for Uganda’s 12th Parliament at Speke Resort Munyonyo, an orientation aimed at preparing legislators for their responsibilities in the new parliamentary term.

The induction brings together newly elected and returning legislators to receive guidance on parliamentary procedures, legislative work, oversight responsibilities and effective representation of citizens in Parliament.
Hon. Nabulo, who emerged as the Woman MP for Sironko District in the 2026 elections, is taking part in the sessions as she begins her parliamentary term with expectations from constituents to advance service delivery, development and community interests.

The programme is expected to equip members with knowledge on parliamentary rules, ethics, accountability and the role of committees in shaping national policy and governance.

Political observers say the induction provides lawmakers with an opportunity to build networks, align priorities and prepare for legislative business ahead of the official start of activities in the 12th Parliament.
I can also make it more like a TV news script, newspaper feature, or social media news copy if you want.
