Asha Mafabi Pays Tribute to Late Tooro King Oyo
The Woman Member of Parliament for Sironko District, Hon. Asha Mafabi Nabulo, has joined the nation in mourning the passing of the late Omukama of Tooro, His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.
Mafabi described the late King Oyo as a respected cultural leader whose life and reign left a lasting mark on the people of Tooro and Uganda at large.
She paid tribute to his leadership, dedication to his subjects and his contribution towards preserving the cultural heritage and unity of the people of Tooro.
According to Mafabi, King Oyo’s legacy will continue to inspire generations, particularly through his role in promoting culture, unity and development among his people.
She conveyed her condolences to the Tooro Kingdom, the royal family, the people of Tooro and all Ugandans mourning the loss of the cultural icon.
Mafabi also prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family and the people of Tooro during this difficult period.
The late King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV will be remembered for his years of service to the Tooro Kingdom and his place in Uganda’s cultural leadership.
May His Majesty’s soul rest in eternal peace.
