Tears and uncertainty have engulfed the family of Nameere after armed men dressed in uniform reportedly arrested her in a dramatic late-night operation, leaving her husband in shock and fear.
Speaking emotionally, Nameere’s husband narrated how he narrowly escaped the same fate after unknown armed men stormed their home and forcefully took away his wife. According to him, the men arrived in a vehicle before surrounding the residence and ordering everyone to remain silent.
He said the armed men, who were heavily dressed in uniform, demanded to know Nameere’s whereabouts before dragging her away without explaining where they were taking her.
The visibly shaken husband recounted the terrifying moments, saying he managed to escape through a back door as the armed men continued searching through the house.
“They came armed and aggressive. They did not introduce themselves or explain why they were arresting her. I feared for my life and escaped,” he said tearfully.
The husband has now appealed to government authorities and security agencies to reveal Nameere’s whereabouts, saying the family has been left in distress and uncertainty.
Relatives and neighbours who witnessed the incident also described the arrest as frightening, calling on authorities to ensure justice and respect for human rights.
By press time, security agencies had not yet issued an official statement regarding the arrest or Nameere’s current location.
